A little slice of heaven
We had a super relaxing time at Northwind Lodge. Our cabin was right on the water and very private. The allowed use of the pontoon and the kayaks/canoes was a nice touch. This is a very vintage and laid back experience which is exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely stay again.
Beautiful Lake with Lots To Do: My husband and I loved staying at the cabin for one week. We didn't want to leave! The cabin is set close to the lake with a beautiful view. We spent a lot of time on the lake fishing, swimming, and exploring. We enjoyed having access to various watercraft (i.e. canoe, fishing boat, pontoon boat, paddle board...there were other craft available too). The fishing was quite good (my husband caught several pike). The water was clear and refreshing. The hosts were friendly and responsive. The location is close enough to make trips into town. The cabin is very basic, but had what we needed. I would love to stay here again!
